And the Weekend Comes

Well, it looks like I'm down another 2 this week, for a total of 11 so far!  This is great for 2 weeks!

I'm going to be out of town for the weekend, so I will update on the happenings in a few days.

    Question for everyone, this past weekend I ate a bunch of the veggie burgers that was recommended in the book, but when I went back it really stated that those were only to be used by vegetarians and by other only occasionally. Oh well, I made it through a getaway weekend without gaining which is good. What does everyone think of the veggie burgers? Also I see some of the receipies call for soy sauce, but I am thinking that it is very high in sodium. What are your thoughts? I am going to try and get the cook book, looking online gave me some hope on how to do a pure protein day as I am really struggling with that. Well, that’s it for now, just had some turkey burgers which were so good. Let me know your thoughts.

  4. Hi TC, I was also skeptical about the soy sauce. I just think things should be done in moderation with the extras like that. As for the veggie burgers, I think you just need to pay attention to the sodium content, etc. You can also make some pretty great burgers with Turkey or extra-lean ground beef. Dice up some veggies and incorporate them into the mix!
